Established in 2003 under the legal framework of Ethiopia’s Proclamation 341/2003, OCCSA operates as an independent, non-profit, non-governmental entity dedicated to fostering the growth and prosperity of the region’s business community. Serving as a vital umbrella organization, OCCSA unites diverse sectors under its auspices, working tirelessly to champion their interests and cultivate a dynamic chamber that reflects the vibrancy of Oromia’s commercial landscape.

What We do
We support the growth and development of businesses within Oromia by providing them with resources, advocacy, and networking opportunities to thrive in the local and global marketplace.
Engage with regional government for policy advocacy and serve on tax compliance committee to ensure fairness for businesses.
Establish strategic alliances with local and foreign business entities through MOUs and Joint Consultative Committees for mutual benefit.
Build up a membership base through supporting the recruitment of new members and retention of existing ones within its affiliate city chambers.
Provide members with relevant business information including opportunities, trade fairs, technology updates, and government regulations.
Identify trade and investment opportunities and help members maximize their business.
Organize meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars to provide members with forum for exchange of views and experiences
OCCSA an autonomous non-profit-non-governmental private organization. It is an umbrella for the business community of the Oromia national regional State.
